Old growth cherry and maple wood compose the piece and allow the contrasting burnt edge and black epoxy fill to define its details.

The clients wanted a live edge dining table for their residence in Washington, DC. The table is a live edge, floating top design, complete with removable leaves.

The legs are fitted on with a draw-bored, single wedge, tennon. The duality of the joinery holds the leg on strong and prevents age from loosening the joints.
